# How can the customer be notified if a product goes Out of Stock?

When a product runs out of stock, Multipurc automatically displays an **Out of Stock** badge on the storefront.

1. Open **Settings → Inventory & Notifications** in your dashboard.
2. Enable **Back-in-Stock Customer Alerts** so shoppers can leave their email or phone number on sold-out items.
3. As soon as you increase the variant or product stock count above zero, interested buyers receive an automatic restock notification.
