A Shipping Zone is an area with one delivery price, for example Inside Dhaka – ৳60 and Outside Dhaka – ৳120. Shipping Rates are weight or price based rate tables.
Where to find it
Sidebar → Shipping → Zones / Rates
Step by step
- Open Shipping → Zones and click + New Zone.
- Enter a Zone Name (e.g. Dhaka Metro Delivery) and the Shipping Price.
- Set Status and Sort Order.
- Under Coverage Location, select the Division (required), then District, Upazila and Union if you want a smaller area. Use Select all or Clear to save time.
- Add optional Notes.
- Click Save Zone.
- Open Shipping → Rates to see weight/price rate tables with name, zone, condition and price.
What each field or button means
| Field / button | What it means |
|---|---|
| Zone Name * | A name only you see. |
| Shipping Price * | Delivery charge for this area in BDT. |
| Division * | At least one division must be selected. |
Tips
- Start with two zones: Inside Dhaka and Outside Dhaka.
